Mel B requests bespoke pushchair from local pram company

A Bolton based baby manufacturer has enjoyed some Hollywood glamour recently when they were approached by A-Lister Mel B to create a bespoke pushchair for her new baby Angel, and yes, Scary did want leopard print!

Despite a recent paternity battle with ex Eddie Murphy, Mel B proved that she didn’t want to fade into the background when she contacted fashion-focused baby brand Cosatto to ask them to design her a one-off pushchair and send it to LA.

The chosen buggy is the super stylish Mobi, which already has a host of celebrity followers including Davina McCall and Spice Girl pal Geri Halliwell. Mel contacted the company and asked if they could design a leopard print version just for her.

The makers at Cosatto quickly got to work, the result:

Leopard print silk lining
Chocolate brown exterior
Bright magenta pink stitching
Super bling gold frame

Lisa Joyce, Cosatto’s Creative Product Manager, comments: “When we got the call from Mel’s agent we were so excited! Mel had seen the Mobi, but wanted a special design to reflect her ‘scary’ personality. We quickly got to work in the Bolton based showroom to create a truly bespoke version of our hero pushchair, the Mobi. She and Angel obviously like it as they’ve been spotted out and about in L.A.?

“A celebrity mum following has helped to increase sales of the Mobi, our new three in one travel system, so much so that we can’t make them quick enough, we have had three times number of orders we expected and the retailers have got customers lined up to take delivery of new product until November.?
